continued until all the cabinets were filled. Owing to the circumstances that two of the cabinets had to be surrendered to the Division of Economic Ornithology and Mammalogy of the Department of Agriculture, for the accomodation of a portion of their collections, the work could not be completed. Had these two cases been available for our use, the work would have been finished, and the study collection of smaller land birds at last put in the condition urgently required for the proper expedition of Museum work.
