I have the honor to be in receipt of your communication of July 31st and hasten to anser by enclosing draft on 1st National Bank to your [[order?]] for Three hundred dollars As you understand the object of the donation I will only request that the Committee will sign the enclosed receipt also that an invoice of articles purchased may be furnished so that proper returns may be furnished the donors

Austin Esq the same to be expended him the purchase of supplies for the destitute sick and infirm of Union County Please have enclosed receipts signed by the Committee and returned to me — Invoices of goods furnished are also desired
