In answer to your communication of March 30th in relation to certain cases of destitution in your vicinity I am requested by the committee for the distribution of the "Boston Fund" to transmit check on Raleigh Nat. Bank for Fifty dollars to purchase necessaries for such cases as you report.

Please associate one or more gentlemen with you as a committee, and return enclosed receipts, signed to this office.
