Mr. Frank T. Coffyn,
Dayton, Ohio.

Dear Sir:

We hereby agree to engage you as mechanic and aviator under the following terms and conditions and for the time hereinafter specified.

In consideration of our training you to fly our machines, you in turn agree to work for us either in our shops or factory or on the road, as we may direct from date until January 1, 1911, with our option of continuing this agreement for one year thereafter or until January 1, 1912.  You further agree that you will not engage in the flying of any aeroplane not owned by us either for public or private exhibition or pleasure in the United States or Canada for one year from the termination of your engagement with us.

In consideration of the special remuneration for flights, you are to assume all risks of personal injury during your employment by us while using the aeroplane.  On account of your assuming this liability, it is understood that you will operate the aeroplane only when the local conditions of field, weather and aeroplane at satisfactory to you.

We agree to pay you wages at the rate of $20.00 per week during your engagement.  While on the road, in addition to the wages
