ADJUTANT GENERAL'S OFFICE. Washington, July 23, 1867. GENERAL ORDERS,} NO. 70.} MORNING AND EVENING GUNS. At every military post supplied with the proper ordnance and ammunition, a morning and evening gun will, in time of peace, be fired daily at reveille and retreat.
