Dear Mr. Schmitt:

Once again, many thanks for your hospitality the other day. Visiting the museum was a memorable experience for Billy; he is still talking about the Washington trip.

I have not heard from St. Andrew's yet about the arrival of the chests, but I imagine they are on their way. I am in no hurry, but one of the men at the Marine Laboratory would like to use the aqualung tanks before long.

The month is not developing as I had anticipated, and I fear the get-together on the 19th is now impossible. As soon as my schedule has jelled, I'll be in touch with you, but right now everything is up in the air and I won't know where I will be until certain matters are concluded.

Please give my regards to Mrs. Schmitt and to others at the museum; it was pleasant seeing them again.

Cordially,
^[[Bill]]
