Dear Bill,

This is in response to your letter of June 8th. I cannot let it go without comment.

I am not only surprised, but profoundly shocked to hear that you removed the "cannisters" of Kodachrome film from the bags (with their numerical notations) in which you say you originally placed them.

I cannot conceive of any good reason that you could have had for pulling a stunt like that, especially after all the take you gave me about calculations, exposure, and basic data, and despite my specific requests for that information on at least two occasions well in advance of the sending.

The keys are in plenty of time; the shipment from Antigua is due about the end of this month.

Sincerely,
[[signed]]Waldo Schmitt[[/signed]]

The text of this letter is identical to that on Page 25 (SIA-SIA2017-028664), but seems to have been handwritten separately. Perhaps to send two letters of the same content to two addresses?
