No. 27}

I.  Capt. [[underlined]] J. Murray Hoag [[/underlined]] appointed Asst. Supt. of Sub District of Goldsboro by Orders from these Hd. Qrs. will make from time to time tours of inspection through his District.
The Q.M. Dept. will furnish him transportation when traveling on business connected with this Bureau.

II.  In accordance with instructions from Maj. Genl. [[underlined]] O.O. Howard [[/underlined]] Commissioner Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen & Abandoned Lands, dated Washington, July 28" 1865, the following described property, will be restored to [[underlined]] S. B. Kahnweiller [[/underlined]] who claims to be the legal owner thereof, at such time as the Lease under which said property is now held shall expire.
One Store Market St. Block 151, one Store Cor. Market & Front Sts. Block 151 and One Store Market St. Block 165, Wilmington N.C.
Nothing in this order is to be construed as giving any claim upon the Government for rents or damages.

III.  In accordance with instructions from Maj. Genl. [[underlined]] O.O. Howard [[/underlined]] Commissioner Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen & Abandoned Lands, dated Washington, July 28" 1865, the following property will be restored to [[underlined]] A. Southerland [[/underlined]] Administrator upon the estate of D. J. Southerland deceased for the minor heirs to said estate;  who claims to be the legal owner thereof, at such time as the Lease under which the said property is now held shall expire.
One Dwelling House & lot on Princess St. between 2d & 3d Sts. Block 179 Wilmington N.C.
Nothing in this order is to be construed as giving any claim upon the Government for Rents or Damages.

I.  Bv't. Maj. [[underlined]] Chas. J. Wickersham [[/underlined]] having been detailed for duty in this Bureau, is hereby appointed Supt. of the Southern District including Counties of New Hanover, Duplin, Sampson, Cumberland, Robeson, Bladen, Columbus and Brunswick.
Maj. [[underlined]] Wickersham [[/underlined]] will proceed at once to Wilmington N.C. and establish his Headquarters.
The Q.M. Dept. will furnish him necessary transportation.

II.  In accordance with instructions from Maj. Genl. [[underlined]] O.O. Howard [[/underlined]] Commissioner Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen & Abandoned Lands, dated Washington, July 28" 1865, the following described property, will be restored to [[underlined]] N.N. Nixon [[/underlined]] who claims to be the legal owner thereof, at such time as the lease under which said property is now held shall expire.
House on Chestnut St. bet. 3 & 4" Sts., House bet. Market & Dock Sts., House on Chestnut St. bet. 8" & 9" Sts., House cor. Red Cross & 3d Sts., Warehouse on Water St. bet. Market & Dock Sts. and Plantation on Topsail Sound 13 miles N.E. of Wilmington N.C..  All in New Hanover Co.
Nothing in this order is to be construed as giving any claim upon the Government for Rents or Damages.
