Special Orders}
No. 86.}

I.  In accordance with instructions from Maj. Genl. [[underlined]] O.O. Howard [[/underlined]] Commissioner Bureau of Refugees, Freedmen & Abandoned Lands, dated Washington, Sept. 12" 1865, the following described property, so far as the jurisdiction of this Bureau extends, will be restored to [[underlined]] L. B. Huggins, [[/underlined]] who claims to be the legal owner thereof, at such time as the Lease under which the said property is now held shall expire; 
One Plantation containing about 323 acres of Land in Masonboro South New Hanover Co.

II.  [[underlined]] J. L. McMillan [[/underlined]] who claims to be the legal owner thereof, at such time as the Lease under which the said property is now held shall expire; 
One Store No. 8 Market St. Block 151, and Store No. 10, Market St. Block 151.  Wilmington N.C.

III.  Mrs. [[underlined]] Mary E. Boatwright, [[/underlined]] who claims to be the legal owner thereof, at such time as the Lease under which the said property is now held shall expire; 
One House and Lot on East side of Front St. Wilmington N.C.

IV.  Mrs. [[underlined]] Laura Smith, [[/underlined]] who claims to be the legal owner thereof, at such time as the Lease under which the said property is now held shall expire; 
One Tract of Land known as the "Guether Tract" near Plymouth containing 257 acres

V.  [[underlined]] Abram Weill, [[/underlined]] who claims to be the legal owner thereof, at such time as the Lease under which the said property is now held shall expire; 
One Lot on 3" St. bet. Princess & Walnut Sts. Wilmington N.C.

VI.  [[underlined]] James T. Petteway, [[/underlined]] who claims to be the legal owner thereof, at such time as the Lease under which the said property is now held shall expire; 
One farm known as "Quinces Mills" and other lands adjoining, containing in all about 1000 acres, New Hanover Co.

Nothing in these orders is to be construed as giving any claim upon the Government for Rents or Damages.

VII.  Capt. [[underlined]] Alex Goslin [[/underlined]] A.Q.M. will proceed without delay on a tour of inspection to Roanoke Island thence to Washington and from there to New Berne.  A report of which tour he will make to Capt. [[underlined]] James, [[/underlined]] Supt. of Eastern District.

Part of Lots Nos. 278, & 279, and Office on Lot No. 251, East side of Middle St. bet. Broad & New Sts. with improvements New Berne N.C.

II.  [[underlined]] F. C. Roberts, [[/underlined]] who claims to be the legal owner thereof, at such time as the Lease under which the said property is now held shall expire; 
Part of Lot No. 43, on Craven St. with improvements, New Berne N.C.

III.  [[underlined]] Thomas S. Howard, [[/underlined]] who claims to be the legal owner thereof, at such time as the Lease under which the said property is now held shall expire; 
Lot No. 11, and Water front of Lot No. 12, New Berne N.C.

Nothing in these orders is to be construed as giving any claim upon the Government for Rents or Damages.
