SPECIAL ORDERS

I.--On the recommendation of Brevt Major General E. R. S. CANBY, U. S. Army, late commander of the 2d Military District, the following named persons will, upon receipt of this order, be discharged form custody: 

PETER BLUMB and THOMAS AUSTIN, now confined in the guard-house at Raleigh, North Carolina, ISAAC SIMMONS and LINDA ALLEN, now confined in the jail at Beaufort, South Carolina, ERNEST HILT, now confined in Castle Pinckney.

And the unexecuted portion of the sentence of the following named persons now confined at Fort Macon, North Carolina, is hereby remitted:

PAGE AYER, GABRIEL STILE, GEORGE W. TOLSON, CHARLES B. RAY, and JAMES P. MITCHELL.
