I.--A General Court Martial is hereby appointed to assemble at Charleston, South Carolina, at 10 o'clock A. M., on the 19th instant, or as soon thereafter as practicable, for the trial of 1st Lieutenant G. V. S. AIKEN, 8th Infantry, and such prisoners as may be properly brought before it.

DETAIL FOR THE COURT.

1.-Brevet Brigadier General ELISHA G. MARSHALL, Colonel U. S. Army, retired.
2.-Brevet Brigadier Genral HENRY B. CLITZ, Lieutenant Colonel 6th Infantry.
3.-Brevet Lieutenant Colonel ORLANDO H. MOORE, Captain 6th Infantry.
4.-Brevet Major GEORGE L. CHOISY, Captain 40th Infantry.
5.-Brevet Major DANIEL D. LYNN, Captain 6th Infantry.
6.-Captain ALEXANDER MURRY, U. S. Army, retired.
7.-Captain CLARENCE M. BAILEY, 6th Infantry.
Brevet Captain JAMES DAVISON, 2d Lieutenant U. S. Army, is appointed Judge Advocate of the court.

No other officers than those named can be assembled without manifest injury to the service. Should any of the officers named in the detail be prevented from attending, the Court will nevertheless proceed to transact its business, provided the number does not fall below the minimum prescribed by law. The court will sit without regard to hours.
