[[underlined]] Campylenchia curiata [[/underlined]]

[[image - line drawing of vetch stem]]

This little three cornered insect was found on a stem of [[underlined]] Astragalis gracilis [[/underlined]], at Marmarth, N. Dak., July 31, 1909. They clung to the spike among the pods which they resembled so closely that that I only noticed them in a critical examination of the plant & only then when they moved. After death the wings & legs unfolded & the resemblance was partly lost.
