Enter the Royal Flying Corps. Enter Cockney English and peculiar mannerisms in the methods of deportment and drill. Here we are, one hundred strong, in the cadet wing of the R.F.C. at Long Branch, Toronto, Ontario!

We quit New York on Monday. Today is Wednesday. Previous to our departure from Fort Wood. I had several days pleasure in and about New York itself. I visited theaters in profusion and can now state that the best acting I've ever seen was ^[[that of]] the Barrymores in "Peter Ibbetson".

One of my mates, Paul Clifford, by name, invited me to his home at Jamaica L.I. I went out twice, met many interesting people, and enjoyed fine hospitality. My mother came down from home and I also saw my sister and brother-in-law at the Island.
