Remembering that Mr. Seligman wished to phone you after your visit of some months ago when it was my pleasure to show you several paintings, I feel I should tell you that he has been, and still is, very ill, as was the case then.

Meanwhile, I trust that when Mr. Seligman is able to return to the gallery he may have the pleasure of meeting you.
