March 1st, 1933.

Dear Mr. Haupt:

I have just returned from my trip South which besides including the usual good time, proved most beneficial and healthful, and I trust that this finds you equally satisfied with your vacation.

I recall with interest, our conversation on the train to Florida, when we happened to meet again by chance, and I thought I would take this opportunity of dropping you these few lines in the hope that some Saturday afternoon, when your time is free, you might agree to stop in our Galleries to browse around and I would be most pleased to show you some of our things.

Although I well realize that you told me you were not in a buying mood, I know that you, as a collector, always enjoy looking at new things of fine quality, and inasmuch as you have never been to our galleries, I should doubly enjoy greeting you here.
