Dear Mr. Nichols:

A few days ago I received your address on "Important Industrial Aspects of Kansas City", and I was prepared to read a formal speech dedicated to some banquet, but when I commenced reading it I became more and more engrossed in its subject, and I want to thank you for having been good enough to send it to me and to tell you how much it held my attention.

The subject you treat is very dear to me, as I am myself - you will probably never have thought it - interested in a concern of industrial designing, as I have long realized the importance of this matter for the U.S.

If you still have a few leaflets available, I would be much obliged to you if you could send me say half a dozen of them, as I would like to have a number for distribution.

It gave me great pleasure to hear from you in this indirect way, and I hope that Mrs. Nichols and you are enjoying good health, and, looking forward to having soon again the privilege of seeing you again,

With best regards,
Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Séligmann)
