My dear Mrs. Nicholson:

I feel certain that you will enjoy receiving the catalogue (First section - Objects of Art, Furniture, Sculpture, Rugs, etc.) of the collection of the late MORTIMER L. SCHIFF, which will be auctioned in London towards the end of this month.

The Second section, comprising the paintings and drawings, will be sent to you as soon as we will have received a few ourselves.

It seems needless to tell you anything about the importance and the quality of this exceptional gathering, as Mr. Schiff was known for his great taste and knowledge. However, as I have been conversant with this collection for so many years, should you be interested in getting any special information I am at your disposal.

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Séligmann)

Mrs. Samuel Nicholson,

Providence, R. I.
