Dear Mr. Ohrbach:

Having spoken to our mutual friend, Mrs. Deborah Lewin, of my desire of having the opportunity of meeting you, she wrote a little while ago that with your permission I should get in touch with you at your office. Hence I am taking the liberty of sending you these lines to inquire whether I could have the pleasure of making your acquaintance sometime at your leisure, and seeing also some of the paintings I understand you bought of late.

Trusting this may be agreeable to you and hoping that in the not too distant future I shall have this opportunity,

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Seligman)
