Dear Gladys:

I was so surprised this morning when I called up the Savoy Plaza, to hear that you had gone without leaving your instructions with me regarding the INGRES drawing, nor answered my letters and messages! I am wondering whether they ever reached you. I have therefore to resort to the unpleasant taks of sending you this one, registered.

In view of the abovd I trust that you want the drawing back in Chicago, and unless I hear from you to the contrary, I am going to have it shipped to you with expenses collected forward.

Hoping that your silence was not due to ill health, and with kind regards,

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Séligmann)
