Jack Paley, Esq.,
c/o Congress Cigar Co.,
3rd & Spruce Sts.,
Philadelphia, Pa.

Dear Mr. Paley,

I have a letter of introduction to you from Mr. Georges Haardt who writes to me that you are looking for a very fine painting. It would give me great pleasure to take advantage of this introduction to call on you some time next week.

I have some business to attend to in Philadelphia, but I could attend to it almost any day, and if you would be kind enough to give me a definite appointment, I could come almost any day you would care to mention.

I believe I had the pleasure of meeting you last summer in Vichy.

Looking forward to the pleasure of hearing from you, kindly believe me

Yours sincerely,
