My dear Mr. Palitz:

I wrote you at the beginning of the season, but so far have not had the pleasure of your visit.

We have recently received an extremely fine pair of portraits by Bartholomaeus Bruyn which I think might interest you, the more so as they come from a celebrated collection and their price is extremely reasonable. These paintings are very attractive and in an exceptional state of preservation.

As I told Mrs. Palitz over the telephone, the gallery is also op^[[e]]n on Saturday afternoons, and I therefore hope that one of these coming days we will have the pleasure of your visit.

Kindly believe me

Sincerely yours,

(René Seligmann)
