[[preprinted]] Superior Court of Cook County
Judge Hugo Pam
In Chambers
Chicago [[/preprinted]]

March 22, 1923.

Mr. Germain Seligman,
c/o Jacques Seligman & Co.,
705 Fifth Avenue,
New York, N.Y.

My dear Mr. Seligman:

I regret exceedingly that your letter of February 14th miscarried for some little time, an when it arrived I was absent from the city for a few days. I realize that it may be too late now for an answer with reference to my brother's whereabouts in Europe to serve the purpose for which you asked that information. I hope, however, you will have seen my brother in Paris before his return.

I remember perfectly our very pleasant little breakfast party, and assure you that I enjoyed very much meeting you. Should I be in Paris at any time I shall give myself the pleasure of getting in communication with you, and trust I may find you there, and if not there, I trust that at another time and place we may meet.

Sincerely yours,
