April 29, 1960

My dear Sir:
[[strikethrough]] Your le [[/strikethrough]]
Your letter of April 28th with the list of the paintings you own was duly received.

I have gone over it most carefully and feel sorry to have to tell you that I am unable to give you any advice as to how to dispose of them. None of them is within the province of my firm's activities.

This rules out, you will realize, my taking any part in the dispersal of your collection. In view of the fact that you had mentioned Miss Frances Kerr's name, I would have been glad to be of help but it does not seem possible to me. I am thus returning the list to you herein.

Yours very sincerely,

Germain Seligman
