My dear Mr. Seligmann,

Thank you so very much for the beautiful basket of flowers which has adorned our rooms ever since our arrival. It was a most charming attention and both Mr. Rose and I appreciate not only the flowers themselves but the thought as well which sent them on their way to us.

We are indeed sorry that our ways are not lying together as it would have been delightful to have shared Paris and this glorious weather with you. I can only hope that New York treats you as well as Paris has treated us! Do wait for us in New York.

Cordially yours

Dorothy B. Rose
