December 20, 1957

Dear Mr. Sutton,

This is just a short line to let you know how delighted I was to have had an opportunity of renewing our acquaintance and I am only sorry that the already crowded days deprived me of the pleasure of asking you for luncheon or at least for cocktails.

One of my late afternoon appointments having been cancelled I thought this would be a pleasant time for a relaxed chat, but unfortunately when I called up the Gladstone this morning I heard that you had left the city.

I hope I shall soon have another such occasion and with personal regards,

Sincerely yours,

Germain Seligman
