Dear Peggy:

Some time ago you mentioned to me that you might be interested in some Flemish Primitives.  As we have just received some extraordinary paintings in this field, it occurred to me that perhaps you might be interested in seeing them, and it is with this idea that I am writing you at this time.

we have a very fine Roger van der Weyden portrait and a few other things of this type which I know you would enjoy seeing.  Do come in soon and bring Harold with you.
