Mr. S. M. Vehon,
679 North Michigan Ave.,
Chicago, Ill.

Dear Sir:

Upon my arrival in Chicago, I took the opportunity to call on you to return the visit you made sometime ago to our place in Paris, the Ancien Palais Sagan. I was very sorry not to have been able to meet you, as I would have liked very much to show you an exhibition we are having now at the Art Institute of a few very fine objects of art of the Gothic and Renaissance Periods.

I think we never had the pleasure of your visit in New York, and I would like very much, should you come to New York in the near future that you will give me an opportunity to show you the collection we have here.

With best regards,
Pray believe me,
Yours very sincerely,
