April 7th., 1937

Madame,

Your kind lines of March 15th., duly reached me and I thank you for its contents.

I shall be back in Europe in a few weeks and shall be pleased indeed, to get in touch with you shortly upon my arrival.

The kind desire you have to keep up the negotiations we have started with Mr. Carlu, is the more so agreeable to me as, though I never received an answer to my letter to him of November 24th., I have remained in touch with the different organizations we contacted and have kept alive a very keen interest in this whole proposition, and when approached on this matter have always answered that I hoped sooner or later to be able to bring it to a successful conclusion.

I am glad to read of the gratifying results of your new venture, and, looking forward to seeing you, I am,

Yours very sincerely,

(Germain Séligmann)
