I have the honor to submit herewith a report upon work performed in the Department of Birds during the month of January, 1894.

The number of specimens entered in the Museum register during the month of January, was 766 (catalogue numbers 131594-132369 inclusive); the principal accessions were as follows:

From [[underlined]] H. P. Attwater [[/underlined]], Rockport, Texas; 2 specimens of [[underlined]] Sula cyanops [[/underlined]] from Texas. (Acc. 27698. Gift).

From [[underlined]] Dr. E. A. Mearns, U.S.A., [[/underlined]] International Boundary Commission; 73 specimens (25 species) from Arizona. (Acc: 27711, collected for the Museum).
