Sir: I have the honor to submit herewith a report upon the work performed in the Department of Birds during the month of January, 1895. [[squiggly underline]] Accessions. [[/squiggly underline]] The number of specimens entered in the Museum register during January was 1273, as follows: 749 specimens from the Boucard collection (catalogue numbers 145,101-145,849), 419 specimens of the Department of Agriculture series (catalogue numbers 135,712-136,130), and 105 specimens from current accessions (catalogue numbers 135,149-135,253).
