I have the honor to submit herewith a report upon the work performed in the Department of Birds during the month of March, 1895.

The number of specimens entered in the Museum register during March, was 223 (catalogue numbers 135404-135626).

The most important accessions were as follows:

From [[underlined]] E. A. McIlhenny [[/underlined]], Avery, La.; eight speciments of Bob White (Colinus) from Louisiana. (Acc. 29063; gift). [[checkmark]]

From [[underlined]] Frank B. Armstrong [[/underlined]], Alta Mira, Mexico; twelve specimens (9 species) from Mexico. Acc. 29103; purchased). [[checkmark]]

From [[underlined]] Frank B. Armstrong [[/underlined]], Alta Mira, Mexico; twenty-three
