I have the honor to submit herewith a report upon the work performed in the Department of Birds during the month of April, 1895.

The number of specimens entered in the Museum register during April, was 393 (catalogue numbers 135627-135700; 149801-150119). The most important accessions were: 

From [[underlined]] U.S. Fish Commission [[/underlined]], Washington, D.C.; twenty-one specimens (7 species) from Alaska, collected by Chas. H. Townsend. (Acc. 29178; Gift). ^[[check mark]]
