[[underlined]] Special Work accomplished [[/underlined]]

Work was continued on the Bulletin on the Ornithology of the Galapagos Archipelago, and this work was finally completed at the end of the month, the MS. covering about 600 pages. This bulletin embraces every species known from the Galapagos Archipelago, with original descriptions and synonomy for each species. Maps accompanying the work show the distribution of each species by genera.

Mr. Richmond has spent considerable time during the month in the preparation of lists of the collections made by Dr. W.L. Abbott in Kashmir, Ladak, Turkestan, and the Pamir.

Very respectfully yours,
