Our objections to having both classes of material subjected to the same regulations may be very simply, and I think clearly, stated; and in submitting them I wish again to disclaim any desire to be, or to appear, [[strikethrough]] obstrepor [[/strikethrough]] obstinate. The best interests of the Department of Birds, as they appear to me, are my only reason; and if the regulations which require all answers to correspondents to emanate from the Division of Correspondence were satisfactory in all cases to the correspondents themselves it would be quite so to me; in fact would be advantageous in the matter of time.
