[[image: 6 'window' shapes, i.e. six squares in which have been drawn an upright cross dividing each square into quadrants. The first of the squares has been altered in pencil. Lines have been added to cross the diagonal of each quadrant of the first square, so that a diamond shape can be seen. A small circle is drawn near the centre point of the printed cross, forming the ear of the cartoon face. A circle of the same size sits outside this square on the left hand side just below the midpoint, forming the nose.]]

Transcription Notes:
This being a drawing how-to book *(and workbook?), I believe this page of blank squares is a "practice page" which the reader is supposed to draw what was just learned. Also, I note the the author's character's name in the literature is variously spelled "Monquito" and "Monguito." - mandc
