I have secured a good white man. I could not get a good colored teacher up this time. I shall see that his salary is paid, but expect the people to pay his board. He is from Philadelphia, Pa. I wish to ask you if you will not aid in getting a boarding place in [[end page]] [[start page]] a good white family and if you will not inform Mr. [[underlined]] George Boulding [[/underlined]] of his coming and have him get things ready to open the school early next week.
