make them. Lumber ought to be cheap at Arlington. We have second hand desks. Good new desks can be bought at Baltimore for $3.00 each, but I think you can have them made much cheaper at D. Hope soon to see you in the new house. I want your report, even if only for part of a month.

I trust you will stay and make a first rate school.

Very Respectfully, Yours

Dear Sir:

From information given by Mr. Janney, when at Annapolis, I do not think we have to do anything for Blackwater. I think they had better use the church benches.

I send you two hundred (200) blanks, all that we can spare now, as we are moving and cannot get printing done. They think you use a good many. I suppose you supply for the term.

I cannot get you teachers now, but will do all I can to hunt them.

Very Respectfully, Yours,

Miss:

I want you to go to the Court House and ask the Clerk of the Court to let you see the record of a deed of the land purchased of Church trustees by School trustees at St. Michaels, Talbot Co.. The names of someof the school trustees are, [[underlined]] William Green, James Mitchell, Daniel Chancey [[/underlined]] and others. The deed was made about two years ago. Then if the Clerk is willing, I want you to make a copy of the deed and send it to me. Thus doing you will much oblige.

Very Respectfully, Yours
