I have taken out $1.25 to pay for recording the deed, and this $1.25 the Society must pay.  I send you the deed which you can give to the trustees when they have paid this money, and not before, and then you will keep the $1.25.

I shall be over to see you in a few days.

Mr. [[underlined]] Ballantyne [[/underlined]] is book seller.  As these have been sent, I will only send on your present order viz:

If you want more books let me know.  Glad you are getting on well.  Cannot pay an assistant.  Will see you before long, then will talk about continuing the school.
