Sir:

Yours of the 7th is received. You will get your transportation from [[underlined]] Col. Corson [[/underlined]] at his office. There does not appear to be any salary due you, your bills for books amounting to over $20. Your school at [[underlined]] Huntingtown [[/underlined]] is taken now, but there is a vacancy at (Queen Ann's County) Salma, which you can have if you get on the ground at once.

Yours Respectfully
