Capt. Lawrence,
We shall not be able to send anything more for the school houses. They have already cost us more than we expected. The lumber without transportation in each place has cost us $324.41. The people must do the rest. I hope there will be no delay in moving the house along to completion.

We shall be able to send lumber for other houses in other places, if you will [[?]] them, but cannot do more for one place I think.

Very respectfully
John Kimball
Supt of Schools.
