Nearly all the places where we propose to work can be reached by steamer on the beautiful Kanawha River. There will be no difficulty about a boarding place at Charleston. The climate is excellent the country very rich but undeveloped. We want this man to go very soon, the schools are now in operation and the house building must be attended to this summer. Any other than the best kind of a man will not do. The General promises to pay half the salary of such an one.
