Dear Sir,
I have arranged the $200. matter, all they have to do is to go on with the Building & send us the Bills to that amount. The form from Fairmont is very good, & sufficient in any place to bring the money. I just have a certified statement from Buckhannan, Upshur Co. before a justice. I believe that is very good. All that we want is good evidence that the house will go up & be for a Free Colored School. I have been in Hardy & Hampshire Cos, at Moorfield, Romney & Springfield, there should be houses, & schools.
I hope you will put the matter through when you go there as they expect before long.
They are a rebel set. I can help you to good teachers, please state, how much the people will pay, or the tax, & for how long. I am going north a few days.
Vy resp yours,
John Kimball
