Friend Janney,

I would like Mr Burghdoff at Port Tobacco,^[[Charles Co]] if his board is paid by the Society, and his wife at Leonardtown St Marys Co (where colored people will pay board) if you do not send Miss Howell there. I have no place just now where they could go together, In fact in most of our places but one Teacher is needed. If you send Miss Howell to Leonardtown then I have no place for Mrs B until the middle of November when I would like her at a place near "The Pines" in St Marys Co, where she can board in a white family, the colored people paying for it. Or about that time several houses will be done. [[strikethrough]] For [[/strikethrough]] Two
