I think that the lumber has not been promised for Desks, (After looking at the Order book), but the amount of lumber furnished for the house is unusually large, and so the house is not finished. I doubt the willingness of Gnl Howard to do any thing more at present. He will be home tomorrow & can then answer for himself if you still think that we must aid in furnishing seats.
