His November papers and quarterly accounts for the 4th Q of. 1847. have been again returned to him for correction. The numerous errors in this officers accounts indicate great inattention to his duties, and unless he amends, I shall apply to have him relieved from the Depot at Saltillo I also forward the Dec & 4th Qr papers of Lieut I. W. Morrel A.A.C.S. Tex. Rangers. I have written to Capt Donaldson Actg. C.S. at Saltillo and to Lieut Morrel for explanations of the purchases and the Clerk here.
