Norleans which, I hope, will meet with your approbation. On Aug. 10, a compy. of Mtd. Vol: (50), under Capt. Dell arrived here and on Aug 11. an other Mtd. compy (71), under Capt Wm. Fisher, arrived. Both are under the order of the Govenor of this state and as yet have not drawn rations nor been mustered into service. The question of feeding them is, for the present, settled by the want of subs. stores here, and they must draw on the country which is but scantily supplied.
