In reply to your letter of the 7th I hasten to inform you that I have no storage for more provisions than you have already provided - as I am advised.

No more troops are now expected nor are any issues made to Volunteers or citizens.

Lieutenant, the 7th Infty bro't but a small amt. of sub. with them, and but for the arrival of the 20000 rat Invd by you on Aug 20 and now in their harbor we should be out of supplies.

I supposed that from my former letters your would have forwarded 3 months rats. with all troops coming here & I have now to request that unless ordd to the contrary by higher authority you will forward their monthly supply with all troops coming here

With this letter you will receive a reqn for say 20000 rats

1.  You will report at the end of every month the number of Rations (of each article) on hand at your post, and the average daily issues. Also the price paid for fresh Beef = the name of the person supplying it, and how often issued.

A.C.S. Maning there supplies from [[underlined]] Tampa Bay [[/underlined]] will make their reports to [[underlined]] Capt. Casey Chf C.S. [[/underlined]] and  those drawing their supplies from [[underline]] Palatka [[/underlined]] will report to [[underlined]] Bvt. Major [[?]] Corn A.C.S. in charge of [[/underlined]]that depot.

2. Purchase fresh Beef in open market and make in contract pending the Department. When a whole beef is
