Thy letter of the 11th ulto applying to Richard Cadbury for teachers fir Freedmen's Schools in Maryland has been laid before the Comtee on Instruction for consideration. Though reluctant to decline thy proposition the present state of their finances does not warrant them in assuming the support of any additional teachers.
