Balto. Octr. 27th. 1868

Rev Jno. Kimball
Supt. of Education &c

Dear Sir:

The people of Snow Hill, Worcester Co. have built for themselves, at their own expense, a school house, and are now willing to pay the $10. required of them, showing conclusively that they mean to be educated. They are without blackboards and now ask for three. Be good enough to let them have them without cost. If you send them addressed to Wm. Jones, Steward of Steamer Cambridge, foot of Camden Street, Balto. so that they will arrive here on Friday morning, he will take them in charge for the school. Mr Jones is one of the trustees, and very earnest in the cause of education. Your kind and early attention will oblige all concerned.

Yours truly
