To Mr Hon Hugh L Bond,
Dear Sir,

I was informed by the Trustees of Oakwood School House, near Brighton Store, to write to you to let you know that the House is finished, and we are ready for the Desks that you promised to give us, when you were here in July 31st 1868.

You addressed us very delightfully, and said you would furnish us Desks, Mr J Kimball, have already sent the Seets. 

And we proposed to open School on the first of January,
